about the webmaster

hey, i'm fionn, and i'm the webmaster behind this site. i wrote a briefer about me page for my blog just because, but this one might be a little longer. i think that writing these sorts of things up is a little self-indulgent, but maybe somebody out there is actually interested. i generally am, it's pretty neat to "get to know" the person on the other side of the screen. not in a parasocial way, of course.

i guess hobbies are a good place to start. like many people on here, i fell in love with coding and creating websites. i'm extremely new to it. this is my first site ever actually, and i'm no graphic designer either. i know very basic HTML and CSS. super shit at javascript. but i'm just here for fun, i'm not striving to be perfect.

apart from that, i enjoy playing video games and going to arcades. my favorite genres are RPGs and rhythm games. i love a lot of different games, but my top two right now are project sekai and honkai: star rail. i just got into FFXIV, and i also really enjoy the elder scrolls games and baldur's gate 3.

i love music, too. i listen to a lot of vocaloid producers and love MILGRAM. second bit is a little ironic for reasons i'll be explaining in a bit.

i'm currently on medical leave from college and spend a lot of my time working. (which means i do, in fact, go out and touch grass. insane.) i have a bit of a complicated relationship with my job. i sometimes hate it, sometimes don't. it's taught me a lot of useful skills, though, so i appreciate it for that.

when i go back to college, i think i might go for a computer science major with a specialization in software engineering. might minor in japanese as well. depends on what i can handle.

something that might come up occasionally is my, uhm, condition. i most likely have DID, so i consider myself an alter. i'm a kajiyama fuuta introject as well, which is why this site is heavily themed after him. also why i use him as a faceclaim, lmao. this'll probably be relevant in blog posts from time to time.
